Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has drawn a comparison between the front trio at the North London club and the Liverpool attackers.

Aubameyang made the comparison in a chat with Sky Sports.

The Arsenal front trio is made up of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and new signing Nicholas Pepe, while the Liverpool attacking trio includes Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

The Liverpool front trio has been one of the key factors behind the numerous successes recorded by the Merseysiders and Aubameyang believes the Arsenal front trio shares some similarities with their Liverpool counterparts.

On the upcoming game between Liverpool and Arsenal at Anfield, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is expecting a tough game against the table toppers.

Arsenal lost the corresponding fixture 5-1 last season with Roberto Firmino netting a treble.

Ahead of the game, the two teams have a perfect record at the start of the new league campaign.

Liverpool won their first two games at home to Norwich City as well as the away match at Southampton.

On the part of Arsenal, the Gunners defeated Newcastle United 1-0 away from home in their Premier League opener for the new season before the 2-1 victory over Burnley last weekend.
