Premier League giants Chelsea have received bad news about loanee Victor Moses after he picked up an injury in a league game.

Nigerian winger Victor Moses is on loan at Turkish Super League giants Fenerbahce at the moment having joined them from Chelsea in January 2019.

The retired Super Eagles star signed for Fenerbahce on loan for 18 months until next summer.

He sustained the injury during the league game with Gazisehir Gaziantep FK on Monday.

Victor Moses played 77 minutes before he was replaced by Ferdi Kadıoglu as Fenerbahce ran out 5-0 winners.

The Chelsea loanee was examined after the game and it was discovered that he has ruptured his muscle and he’s expected to be out of action for weeks.

No timeline was given for his injury but the former West Ham United and Stoke City player is expected to be out for at least four weeks.

Victor Moses left Chelsea to join Turkish giants Fenerbahce after he was frozen out of the team by Maurizio Sarri who has since left the club to take up the Juventus job.

The Nigerian attacker was linked with a move to Inter Milan this summer but he ended up staying with the Turkish Super League club.
