Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has blasted Chelsea and manager Frank Lampard for their tactics since the new Premier League season started.
Jamie Carragher talked about Chelsea and Frank Lampard while he was on Sky Sports.
On the tactics employed by Chelsea, Jamie Carragher said that the matches involving Chelsea are like Basketball games.
According to the former Liverpool defender, Chelsea are too open under Frank Lampard this season.
Jamie Carragher also ripped into Chelsea winger Willian for his poor display during Sunday’s game against Leicester City at Stamford Bridge.
Brazilian international Willian came off the bench in the second half in place of new signing Christian Pulisic and the 30-year-old played poorly according to Jamie Carragher.
The ex-Liverpool man said that Frank Lampard could have subbed off Willian if he had an extra substitution at his disposal as the Brazilian international star played poorly during his time on the pitch.
Chelsea started their season with the 4-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester United in what was the first league game of this season.
The Blues went on to lose the European Super Cup on penalties to Liverpool before they played out a 1-1 draw at home to Leicester City in their last game.
