La Liga: What Zidane Said About Bale After Celta Vigo Win
Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has revealed that Gareth Bale will stay at the club beyond this summer’s transfer window.
French football legend Zidane spoke about Welsh international star Bale shortly after the league opener at Celta Vigo.
Zidane and his players started the new Spanish La Liga season on a winning note following the 3-1 victory at the home of tricky opponents Celta Vigo.
In his post-match press conference, Zidane confirmed that Gareth Bale will be staying at Real Madrid this season.

The Real Madrid boss also said that James Rodriguez won’t leave the club this summer before adding that the decision to keep the two players was independent of the injury to Eden Hazard who missed the game at Celta Vigo.
Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez were linked with moves away from Real Madrid and the former even came close to joining Chinese Super League (CSL) outfit Jiangsu Suning.
The Chinese club wanted to pay Bale weekly wages worth £1m but Real Madrid were unwilling to let the Welshman leave the club on a free transfer.
Manchester United target Bale has been able to recover from that transfer setback after he played 75 minutes of the game against Celta Vigo which ended in a 3-1 win for his team.
