The transfer saga involving Paris Saint Germain (PSG) attacker Neymar will end in the next 44 hours according to the latest reports from Mundo Deportivo.

It was revealed that PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu will meet in Liverpool to discuss a move for the aforementioned Neymar.

The two clubs bosses are expected to reach an agreement for the Brazilian international star.

The first Barcelona offer of £74m plus Philippe Coutinho was turned down by PSG who want to recoup the £200m spent on his transfer in the summer of 2017.

PSG signed Neymar from Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona two years ago and the player is keen to return to the Nou Camp.

Neymar is keen to move back to Barcelona after two years despite the fact that PSG supremo Al-Khelaifi prefers a transfer to Real Madrid.

The 27-year spent four years at Barcelona between 2013 and 2017.

During his time at Barcelona, Neymar won the 2015 Champions League title and the two Spanish La Liga titles.

Long-term Manchester United target Neymar became a PSG player after he was made the most expensive player in world as a result of the transfer.

The forward has spent two seasons at PSG, netting 51 goals in 58 appearances for the French Ligue 1 club.
