Arsenal legend Paul Merson has slammed Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba for his performance during the weekend’s game against rivals Chelsea.

Ex-Arsenal midfielder Paul Merson talked about Paul Pogba while he was doing his punditry work on popular English media channel Sky Sports.

The footballer turned pundit criticized Paul Pogba despite his two assists against Chelsea as his Manchester United side won 4-0.

According to him, Paul Pogba needs to step up his game after he lost the midfield battle when Manchester United beat rivals, Chelsea.

The French World Cup winner assisted the scoring of the third and fourth goal.

Manchester United had earlier taken the lead through Marcus Rashford who was successful from the penalty spot.

The penalty was awarded after Rashford was brought down by Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma.

Manchester United kept that one-nil advantage at the halftime interval before French international Anthony Martial added a second goal in the second half.

A third goal soon arrived through the aforementioned Rashford off an assist from Paul Pogba.

Pogba also added a second assist of the game for substitute Daniel James with nine minutes left to wrap up the emphatic win over Chelsea in what was manager Frank Lampard’s first game in charge in the Premier League.
