German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal midfielder Joe Willock.

According to Sky Sports, Joe Willock has impressed Bayern Munich officials and they are ready to make a move for the young Arsenal star.

Bayern Munich officials got a first hand of his talent during the International Champions Cup (ICC) clash between the Bavarian giants and Arsenal at the end of last month.

Joe Willock played over an hour as Arsenal beat Bayern 2-1 to record their first victory at this year’s ICC tournament.

The Arsenal midfielder has impressed a great deal during preseason and he’s expected to play a bigger role at the club this season than what was obtainable in the last campaign.

Joe Willock made just six appearances in all competitions for the Gunners during the last campaign which ended in a disappointing manner for the North Londoners.

He made an impressive cameo appearance for Arsenal during their disappointing loss to Chelsea in the Europa League final in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Joe Willock was a second half substitute for the Gunners as they lost 4-1 to their London rivals.

He came on for Mesut Ozil in the second half of the game and still managed to make a positive mark on the game.

William Saliba

From every indication, Arsenal’s new recruit William Saliba would be returning to France to play in the French Cup Final with Saint Etienne against Paris Saint Germain.

The Gunners snapped up the player in a £27 million deal last year and allowed him to stay back on a loan deal which expired on June 30.

As a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, the French league was not concluded but the French Cup final has now been scheduled for July 24.

The French club have approached Arsenal for the player to return for the final game and it was initially agreed but conditions for William Saliba to return were not reached between both clubs, causing fracas.

The latest report now claims that William Saliba is really upset with the decision by Arsenal to turn him down and has already approached the club’s managing director Vinai Venkatesham, a development that could force a rethink and a new negotiation.

Should everything go fine, Willaim Saliba could still return to France for the final game before starting his Arsenal career ahead of the coming season.

The North London are very keen on the welfare of the defender, knowing his injury records and they are keen on ensuring he gets fit to start the season with the team.

Antoine Griezmann

There are indications that English Premier League outfit Arsenal will miss out on their target and Barcelona striker Antoine Griezmann after reports claim he prefers a move to Man United.

The Gunners had indicated an interest in the France international and are ready to use a swap deal with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to tempt Barcelona who are also reportedly seeking the signature of the Gabon international.

While Arsenal are yet to tie down Aubameyang with a new deal, Barcelona are reported to be interested in his signature as they have not gotten the best from Antoine Griezmann since he joined Nou Camp from Atletico Madrid.

The latest report now claims that the France international was involved in a dressing room row and has fallen out of favour with the Catalan boss. It is claimed that the Premier League is his preferred destination and he favours a move to Man United.

According to the reports on The Express, the Griezmann family is unhappy with the situation of the former Atletico Madrid striker in Barcelona and are in full support of a move away from the club.

This, therefore, means that Arsenal’s chance of landing the star striker is now dim because of the uncertainty of his future at Barcelona.

Dani Ceballos

It’s surprising to learn that English Premier League outfit Arsenal are in talks with Real Madrid over the possibility of keeping Dani Ceballos on a permanent basis.

This is after manager Mikel Arteta made this known after Arsenal’s 4-0 thrashing of Norwich on Wednesday evening.

It has become a thing of surprise since Arsenal chief, Edu already hinted the player would return after making claims that he hopes to see Ceballos complete his loan deal while announcing a contract extension for other players.

Arteta has now confirmed his love for the player, stressing that Dani Ceballos understands what is needed and works hard.

According to Arteta, Ceballos was struggling with injury when he first took over at the Emirates Stadium without knowing his true quality.

The Spaniard has strung a series of impressive performances together with the manager stressing that he really wants to help the team by his efforts to always win the ball and his interceptions.

There is no doubt that the Spanish playmaker will add flare to the Arsenal team and will add that creativity anytime Mesut Ozil is unavailable. His runs and ability to drive the ball into the opponents half is special.

Dani Ceballos will also be glad to remain as long as he can be guaranteed playing time.

It has now become obvious, the reason why manager Mikel Arteta has not shown any fear with the delay in contract extension of Gabon sensation Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Dust is already been raised over issues of his contract. With some months left to the end of his current contract, the Gabon international is yet to seal a new deal and this is coming amidst interest from a number of clubs across Europe.

Knowing his quality and goal-scoring ability, it was expected that Arteta will be desperate to see his captain seal a new deal but his body language has not shown that.

The reason is now made clear after he confirmed that he is positive that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will remain at the club for many years.

When BT Sports asked Arteta about the progress so far on Aubameyang and contract talks, he replied by saying “I don’t know”

He therefore confidently assured that there is no need for worries because he is confident that the former Dortmund player will pen a new deal.

Meanwhile, Aubameyang has also confirmed that he hopes to sit with the club anytime soon but noted that he is focused on finishing the season in a better position.

Aubameyang has been outstanding for Arsenal and has set a club record of 50 goals in 75 games after his double against Norwich in the 4-0 win at the Emirates Stadium.

Ivan Gazidis planning to hurt Arsenal?

There has been unease among Arsenal fans over claims that young sensation Folarin Balogun could part ways with the club.

Folarin Balogun is one of the hottest prospects in Arsenal, tipped to have a great future, reasons why losing him will be a big blow.

So far, he has scored 38 goals in just 41 outings for the U18 side and tipped to make it to Mikel Arteta’s squad in coming years.

Efforts to have the 18-year-old sign a new deal with the club have failed, the reason why the club may be forced to cash in on him.

However, it is reported that AC Milan and Southampton are the two clubs tempting the young lad with interests with claims that he favours a move to Italy.

The man behind AC Milan’s recruitment is the former Arsenal Chief, Ivan Gazidis who masterminds the interest in the player who is regarded as Arsenal future.

This means Ivan Gazidis will be hurting his former employers in an attempt to make a good future for his new employers.

Meanwhile, Arsenal rejected a £5m bid from Brentford for Folarin Balogun in the past few months.

Ivan Gazidis is well known to Arsenal after playing a vital role at the club for many years. He will be remembered for getting rid of former manager Arsene Wenger.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Arsenal have been able to agree on a loan extension with Italian Serie A outfit, AS Roma for their player, Henrikh Mkhitaryan until next season.

The midfielder did not enjoy his stay at the Emirates Stadium after the swap deal from Man United, forcing him out of the club for a loan deal.

Life seems to be good for the former Red Devils player in Italy after scoring six
goals in 15 games. No wonder, he claims to be happy when the loan extension deal was announced.

More to this news is that Super agent Mino Raiola has reportedly convinced Arsenal to terminate Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s contract and that would be confirmed to the public anytime soon.

Efforts to have Roma pay a fee for Henrikh Mkhitaryan has failed and that means his contract with Arsenal would be allowed to run out.

While Arsenal will not benefit any amount for Mkhitaryan, it is reported that Raiola played a big role in convincing the Gunners, hence he will benefit from a transfer fee that should have been paid to the club.

All might not be lost of Arsenal as they will also be relieved of the weekly wage paid to Mkhitaryan which would be used to pay other new recruits.

This, therefore, means that Mkhitaryan will sign a permanent deal with the Italian outfit as soon as he is cleared with the North London club.

The Gunners are expected to find a better replacement for Mkhitaryan in this summer transfer window to add depth to the team if they must bounce back.

William Saliba

Arsenal Football Club have expressed fears over the safety and welfare of their player William Saliba, a reason why he would not be allowed to join his former team Saint Etienne for a Cup final later in July.

The French club had faulted Arsenal for not releasing the Brazilian for a loan extension as an agreement for the term was not reached. This could be leading to a war of words after Saint Etienne claimed the Gunners were “imposing absolutely unacceptable sports and financial conditions”

In a reply to Saint Etienne, Arsenal in a statement said in their dealing with the French outfit, the sole aim is to help and protect William Saliba’s welfare as well as the interest of the club.

The North London outfit noted that Saliba’s contract with Saint Etienne had ended on June 30 and they were willing to release him for the French Cup final against PSG on July 24 but an agreement was not reached.

According to Arsenal, Saliba is just returning from injury and to protect him, Saint Etienne was asked to follow clear training plan with the player and that must happen with collaboration and supervision by Arsenal staff to ensure the player is fully fit to start the new season but an agreement was not reached on that.

While the player might be disappointed with this development, Arsenal will maintain their stance to ensure the welfare of the player because of the need for him to be fit for next season.

More to this, is his role in Arsenal’s defeat against Man City. This has been difficult for the Gunners fans to bear. The situation almost got out of control when the North London outfit announced a new contract for the former Chelsea defender despite his unsatisfactory performance.

However, the Gunners fans will be left with no option than to fall in love with the Brazilian defender if latest report is anything to go by.

It is reported that David Luiz will convince Arsenal target and his Brazilian counterpart, Thiago Silva to switch to the Emirates Stadium.

Silva has already confirmed he would be leaving French Ligue 1 outfit PSG this summer with a destination yet unknown.

With Arsenal looking for reinforcement at the back, Thiago Silva will not be a bad idea owing to his quality and experience which is known to all.
