New Everton recruit Alex Iwobi will wear the number 17 jersey at the club on the back of his deadline day transfer from fellow Premier League outfit Arsenal.

His shirt number was confirmed by Everton via their various social media accounts.

He was handed his first ram debut by former manager Arsene Wenger.

Alex Iwobi thrived under the legendary Arsenal manager especially in the early stages of his first team career.

He scored 15 goals for the Gunners during his time at the club.

His time at Arsenal ended with just one major trophy.
