Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi has revealed the major reason behind his sensational form for the Gunners in the new campaign.

According to the 22-year-old, new Arsenal manager Unai Emery has given him the confidence to express himself and that has led to his outstanding form for the North Londoners this season.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria player further pointed out that he’s recovering faster from his mistakes at a faster rate than what was obtainable before.

Alex Iwobi broke into the Arsenal team in 2015 under former boss Arsene Wenger and he was hugely impressive in the early stages of his Gunners career before fading badly under the guidance of the 69-year-old Frenchman.

He spoke about his recent Arsenal via dailycannon and his claims are backed up by his starts.

Iwobi has scored one goal and provided four assists in all competitions this season meaning that he’s averaging a goal or an assist in 93 mins in comparison to 226.8 mins from last season.

His best outing of the season came on Monday night when he was named the man-of-the-match as Arsenal recovered from a goal down to beat Leicester City 3-1 to secure a 10th successive victory in all competitions and a 7th Premier League win.
