Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen has been given a five-year contract by Manchester United who are keen to sign him before the transfer window ends in the next 48hrs.

This is according to the publication from popular Spanish media outlet AS.

It was revealed that Spurs are demanding £60m for Christian Eriksen who has one year left on his current deal with Spurs.

Christian Eriksen had earlier made his stance known that he wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

Manchester United have been linked with a lot of midfielders this summer and they might settled on one of their numerous transfer targets eventually in Christian Eriksen.

The 27-year-old has been a mainstay in the Tottenham Hotspur team since his move from Dutch Eredivisie club Ajax Amsterdam in 2013.

The Danish international was one of several players signed by Spurs due to the funds received from the world-record transfer of Gareth Bale to Real Madrid.

He was a key part of Spurs’ run to the Champions League final before they succumbed to a 2-0 at the hands of Premier League rivals Liverpool.

Apart from Manchester United, the likes of Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan have all been linked with the player.
