Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly plotting a move for Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti before the end of this transfer window.
This is according to French news outlet Le10 Sport which revealed that the Red Devils want to sign the French World Cup winner.
Samuel Umtiti was a key member of the French team that won the 2018 FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia last summer.
France won the tournament by beating fellow Europeans Croatia 4-2 in their final clash.
Samuel Umtiti has been linked with a move away from Barcelona this summer but the player is keen to continue his football career at the Nou Camp beyond this summer.

He still has four years left on his current deal at Barcelona.
Apart from Manchester United, Samuel Umtiti has also been linked with a move for him.
North London giants Arsenal have also been linked with him.
Manchester United have serious issues defensively based on what happened in the last campaign.
The Red Devils conceded 54 goals in just 38 league games.
The aforementioned report revealed that Barcelona want €60m for Umtiti but the Catalans are ready to make a €50m bid for the former Lyon centre back.
He joined Barcelona from Lyon in the summer of 2017.
