North London club Tottenham Hotspur have been told that they must pay £64m to sign Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes during this summer’s transfer window.
This is according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth which revealed that Spurs have been unsuccessful in their latest offer for the 24-year-old player.
Fellow Premier League outfit Manchester United are also interested in signing the Portuguese midfielder.
As a matter of fact, the Red Devils have been linked with Bruno Fernandes for the majority of the summer.
For now, Bruno Fernandes is still a Sporting Lisbon player despite the interest of a lot of European sides.

Apart from Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, Bruno Fernandes has been linked with Premier League sides like Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool as well as Spanish La Liga giants Atletico Madrid.
Bruno Fernandes enjoyed a very good season for Sporting Lisbon in the last campaign.
The 24-year-old scored 32 goals and also added 18 assists in 53 games for Sporting Lisbon in all competitions last season as they finished the campaign with the Portuguese Cup title.
Bruno Fernandes broke the goalscoring record for a midfielder with his numbers for Sporting Lisbon.
He broke the record of former Chelsea star Frank Lampard who scored 27 goals for the Blues during the 2009/10 season.
