Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane didn’t really provide a definite answer while fielding questions from reporters on the status of James Rodriguez at the club.

Zidane was asked about James Rodriguez shortly after the Audi Cup semifinal clash with Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur.

According to him, he’s not sure if James Rodriguez would be at the club when the transfer window ends next month.

Zinedine Zidane and his Real Madrid players were beaten 1-0 by Spurs courtesy the first-half goal scored by Harry Kane.

Spurs will face hosts Bayern Munich in the final.

James Rodriguez is back at Real Madrid after two years with Bayern Munich.

The Colombian international joined the Bavarian giants from Real Madrid on a two-year loan deal for £11m.

James Rodriguez signed for Bayern Munich in 2017 and the German champions had the option to buy him permanently for £36m at the end of his loan spell at the Allianz Arena but they didn’t take up that option.

The former FC Porto and AS Monaco playmaker has been linked with a move to the Premier League with clubs like Liverpool and Manchester United.

James Rodriguez joined Real Madrid from AS Monaco for £63m in the summer of 2014.
