Juventus director Pavel Nedved has downplayed the transfer rumours linking the club with a move for Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku.

The former Juventus player was asked about Lukaku shortly after the official unveiling of the Italian Serie A fixtures for the new season.

According to him, he didn’t want to speak about Lukaku or any other player.

The Juventus legend further said that they are working on doing deals.

Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has made no secret of his love for the Italian Serie A.

Juventus have been linked with a swap deal for the aforementioned Lukaku.

Recent reports claimed that Paolo Dybala could move in the other direction.

Juventus have already told Dybala that they are open to offers for him amidst the interest from the Premier League duo of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

Dybala is on holiday at the moment after his toils at the 2019 COPA America tournament in Brazil.

The petite attacker was part of the 23-man Argentina squad to the tournament.

Argentina finished in third position at the end of the tournament which was won by the host nation.

The Brazilians won their ninth COPA America tournament courtesy the 3-1 win over Peru in the final.
