Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been touted as a possible transfer addition to the Real Madrid squad for the majority of this summer.
The Frenchman had previously been talked about seeking a new challenge elsewhere.
He said that during an interview while he was on tour of Tokyo, Japan.
According to Spanish newspaper AS, Pogba wants to leave Manchester United for Real Madrid this summer.
The first reason is that the Frenchman is aggrieved due to his financial status at the club.
Pogba is unhappy that he’s not the highest earner at Manchester United.
The French World Cup winner earns £290,000 on a weekly basis at Manchester United which is far from the highest earner Alexis Sanchez.
Chilean international Alexis Sanchez currently earns £500,000 per week at Manchester United.
The second reason is that it would be difficult for the player to win the Ballon d’Or at Manchester United.
Paul Pogba is in his second spell at Manchester United following his return to the club from Italian Serie A champions Juventus.
Manchester United paid £89m for the French midfielder to secure his transfer from the summer of 2016.
Real Madrid are ready to offer £150m to secure his signing from Manchester United this summer according to The Sun.
