Merseyside giants Everton have made a big bid for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha according to the latest reports coming out of the media in the United Kingdom.
Zaha is attracting interest from a lot of clubs in the Premier League this summer on the back of a very good season for South London club Crystal Palace.
Sky Sports revealed that Everton have made a bid of £55m for Zaha.
The 26-year-old was the subject of a £40m bid from Arsenal earlier this month.
The Arsenal bid was rejected and the same fate is likely to greet the offer from Everton with Crystal Palace keen to sell their star player for £80m or nothing.
The Gunners have switched their attention to Lille winger Nicolas Pepe.
Apart from Arsenal and Everton, Europa League holders Chelsea are also interested in him.
Recent reports claimed that Chelsea want to sign the winger and loan him back to Crystal Palace for the new season.
Chelsea have been banned from signing players for two transfer windows including the current transfer window.
The Blues were sanctioned by world football’s governing body FIFA for breaking the rules relating to the signing of players under the age of 18.
