Italian Serie A giants AC Milan are reportedly plotting a move for Lille winger Rafael Leao this summer.
This is according to the publication from French news outlet RMC Sport which revealed that the seven-time European champions want to sign the Lille attacker.
Rafael Leao had previously been linked with a move to the Premier League.
Arsenal are one of the clubs mentioned as a possible transfer destination for the young forward.
AC Milan will have to pay €35m to sign Rafael Leao from French Ligue 1 club Lille between now and the end of this summer.
The Italians want to sign him as a direct replacement for Patrick Cutrone who’s expected to join Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers in the coming days.
Rafael Leao left Sporting Lisbon to join Lille last summer after his contract with the Portuguese club was canceled at his own request.
Sporting Lisbon will be entitled to 20% of the transfer fee if the Lille winger moves to another club.
Rafael Leao had a good debut season at Lille where he scored eight goals in 26 appearances in the league.
His form was crucial to Lille who finished the league season as the second best team behind champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG).
