Barcelona defender Thomas Vermaelen is reportedly in talks with one of the biggest clubs in Japan over a transfer this summer.
According to Sky Sports, Vermaelen is in advanced talks with Japanese club Vissel Kobe over a free transfer move.
The former Arsenal captain is expected to put pen to paper on a two-year deal until the end of the 2020/21 season.
Thomas Vermaelen is a free agent at the moment but that could change this summer if he signs for Vissel Kobe FC of Japan.
