Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona are looking to raise €150m from the sale of some players in their squad.

This is according to the publication from the stables of popular media outlet ESPN.

It was revealed that Barcelona want to raise funds from the sale of their fringe players including Brazilian winger Malcom.

The Brazilian attacker has been strongly linked with a move to Arsenal this summer with several media outlets reporting that Arsenal want to sign him on a loan move.

Other media outlets claimed that the Catalans have slapped an asking price of €60m on Malcom who has spent just one year at the Nou Camp.

Barcelona signed the player under the noses of Italian Serie A giants AS Roma during last summer’s transfer window.

AS Roma had earlier agreed on a €41m deal with French Ligue 1 outfit, Bordeaux before Barcelona hijacked the deal for the same transfer fee after the player opted for the Catalans.

Malcom has not been able to seal a starting spot in the Barcelona team since his transfer from Bordeaux last summer.

Arsenal are in the market for a new winger and Brazilian attacking talent Malcom is said to be one of their options.
