Arsenal Told To Pay £36m For 10-goal Attacker

North London giants Arsenal will have to pay £36m to sign Gremio attacker Everton Soares this summer according to veteran Brazilian journalist Brenno Beretta.

The Gunners want to sign a winger during this summer’s transfer window and Everton Soares is said to be one of their options though Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha remains their number one target for the position.

Arsenal have had several bids turned down for Zaha who has an £80m valuation from Crystal Palace and he’s also keen to play for the club he supported as a boy.

Zaha had his most productive spell as a Premier League player in the last campaign after netting 10 goals and also providing five assists.

Gremio attacker Everton Soares has been lined up as a possible replacement for Zaha in the event that the Gunners are unable to sign him this summer.

Everton Soares scored six goals and also added an assist for Gremio in 13 games last season.

The 23-year-old was at the top of his game during that just concluded COPA America tournament on home soil.

Everton Soares helped Brazil to win the tournament as hosts after their victory over stubborn Peru via a 3-1 win in their final clash.
