Manchester United playmaker Juan Manuel Mata has urged teammate Paul Pogba to stay at the club beyond this summer.
Paul Pogba has been strongly linked with a move away from Manchester United this summer but Mata wants him to stay on and further establish himself as a key player for the Old Trafford outfit.
In his latest interview monitored by Eurosport, Spanish international Juan Mata revealed that Pogba knows how to promote unity amongst the Manchester United players before adding that he would like him to stay at the club.
Juan Manuel Mata also had a similar issue at the club but his long-term future at Manchester United has been resolved.
His contract was expected to run out this summer but Manchester United were quick to tie him down to a new contract.
Mata was given a two-year contract extension with the option of a third year though he had to take a pay cut to sign the new deal.
For Paul Pogba, the French midfielder has talked about leaving the club for a new challenge amidst the intense interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid and former club Juventus.
The Frenchman is in his second spell as a Manchester United player.
