Reigning European champions Liverpool have been urged to sign Leicester City midfielder James Maddison this summer.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was advised to go for the young English midfielder by club legend Steve Nicol.
According to the former Reds defender, James will add creativity to the Liverpool midfielder.
Steve Nicol talked about Liverpool and James Maddison while he was doing his punditry job on popular media channel ESPN.
James Maddison has been linked with the biggest Premier League clubs this summer but the £60m Manchester United target is still a Leicester City player.
Apart from Liverpool and Manchester United, the 22-year-old has also been linked with Premier League champions Manchester City and Champions League finalists Tottenham Hotspur.
James Maddison had a very good season in his first campaign as a Premier League player following his £24m transfer from Norwich City last summer.
Without him in the Norwich City squad, the Canaries were able to win the English Championship last season thereby gaining promotion to the Premier League ahead of the new season.
Sheffield United and Aston Villa are the other two promoted clubs aside from the Canaries.
James Maddison scored seven goals and also added seven assists in 36 games in his first Premier League campaign.
