English Championship club Bristol City have signed defender Tomas Kalas from Premier League giants Chelsea after his successful loan spell with the Robins last summer.
His transfer was confirmed by the Championship club on Monday evening.
Tomas Kalas spent last season on loan at Bristol City from Chelsea and it turned out to be hugely successful.
The 26-year-old was one of the best players for Bristol City in the last campaign as the Robins missed out on the playoffs at the end of the regular Championship season.
The Czech Republic international Kalas was one of the longest-serving players at Chelsea whom he joined as a teenager nine years ago.

The Bristol City centre back spent the majority of his Chelsea career away from the club.
Kalas was a key player for West London club Fulham during the 2017/18 season as he helped the Cottagers secure promotion to the Premier League.
Fulham didn’t survive the Premier League after they suffered relegation from the top flight of English football during the recently concluded season.
Bristol City have sealed a permanent deal for Tomas Kalas for a reported fee of around £8m in addition to weekly wages said to be £25,000.
The Czech Republic defender would be the highest earner at Bristol City in addition to his record transfer fee.
