Premier League giants Manchester United have been told to sign former Chelsea defender Gary Cahill in the quest to solve their much publicised defensive issues from last season.
Former Premier League defender Danny Mills has told both Arsenal and Manchester United to sign Gary Cahill who’s a free agent.
Former Leeds United and Manchester City right-back Mills talked about Gary Cahill while he was on British radio TalkSport.
Gary Cahill is without a club after his Chelsea contract ran out at the end of last season.
The retired England international spent over seven years at Chelsea before he left the club this summer.
Chelsea signed Gary Cahill from Bolton Wanderers during the winter transfer window in 2012 for £7m.
The former Aston Villa player went on to win the Champions League title with Chelsea in 2012 just some months after joining the West Londoners.
He also won two Premier League titles as well as two Europa League titles during his time as a Chelsea player.
Gary Cahill assumed the captaincy role at Chelsea after club legend John Terry left two seasons ago.
Danny Mills believes that Cahill will do a good job at Manchester United or Arsenal who conceded 54 goals and 51 goals in the Premier League last season.
EPL: Arsenal, Tottenham target walks out on extension talks
North London outfits Arsenal and Tottenham have been handed a major boost as their target, Ryan Fraser has reportedly walked out on Bournemouth during an effort to hand him a new contract deal.
Apparently, Ryan Fraser is keen to have a fresh start of his career with a new challenge elsewhere which is the only reason why he will not sign a new deal with his club.
The development means he could be put up on sale this summer transfer window with Arsenal and Tottenham expected to submit a bid for him.

According to reports, the Cherries are offering him a pay rise of £67,000-a-week to the Scot but he rejected it as he expected more which the club is not willing to offer him.
The 26-year-old will now be available on a free transfer as his contract with the club will run out this summer window. The challenge will now be to get a deal of his wish.
While Arsenal and Tottenham are yet to make a bid for Ryan Fraser, Crystal Palace already submitted an offer but sadly, it was below the deal he rejected with Bournemouth as they were only ready to pay £50,000-weekly.
Ryan Fraser is a quality winger that has been consistent for the past seasons. In the just-concluded campaign, he delivered seven goals and 14 assists.
Arsenal board places Arteta’s favourites in the transfer market
There could be a cold feeling at the Emirates Stadium as Arsenal, the board of the English Premier League club, has reportedly placed one of the favourites of manager Mikel Arteta on sale.
It is reported that Ainsley Maitland-Niles will now be available to all his suitors as the board wants to cash in on him to fund the rebuilding program of the Spanish manager from his sale.
It is reported by SunSport that the former Man City assistant manager has told the club thr4at the versatile midfielder is a part of the club’s future as well as his plans for the new season but the club does not agree with him.

Arsenal will be looking to bounce back after the effect of the world pandemic and are seeking for the region of £30 million for Ainsley Maitland-Niles this summer window.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles is one of the high-profile casualties that could be forced to end their career at the Emirates Stadium with more names expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
The Gunners board seems to have a strong belief in the Spanish boss after seeing him deliver the FA Cup title in his first reign at the club and are ready to give him the financial backing.
Arsenal’s interest in midfielder described as “rumour”
From the latest development, there is no doubt that Arsenal’s reported interest in Armin Gigovic is rumour.
Armin Gigovic himself has come out to describe the speculations as false, as he stressed that he would not be leaving Helsingborgs IF this summer transfer window.
Armin Gigovic is regarded as one of the best upcoming defensive midfielders in Europe at 19-years as he has been very impressive in his display for the club.

He has been linked with a number of European clubs but he seems not to be ready for a move as he wishes to continue his development with his club without any big-money deal.
This is not the first time the North London outfit will be showing interest in Armin Gigovic and it seems not to be happening again this term despite the wish of manager Mikel Arteta to reinforce his midfield before the start of next campaign.
From all indication, the Spanish boss will be supported with funds to engage in the summer transfer window as they hope to rebuild the team and get back to their best, especially now that they have been able to secure qualification to the Europa League after winning the FA Cup.
Arsenal target agrees on £27m move to Lille
It is another big blow to North London outfit, Arsenal as they lost a major target to French Ligue 1 outfit Lille in this summer transfer window.
The Gunners are reported to be interested in highly-rated Gent striker, Jonathan David as well as Man United with the hope that a deal would be wrapped up this summer window but no doubt they came very late on him.
The report claims that Mikel Arteta had wished Jonathan David serve as a cover to Gabon international forward, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who is now over 30 years but that is not happening.

Jonathan David has now gone to replace the Nigerian international starker Victor Osimhen at the Ligue 1 outfit after he sealed a £45 million move to Italian Serie A outfit Napoli last week.
The 20-year-old agreed on a five-year contract with Lille at the Stade Pierre Mauroy.
However, a deal for Jonathan David would have helped Arsenal to settle with the reported exit of French striker Alexandre Lacazette as his name has continued to be mentioned as part of those that would be shown the way out at the Emirates Stadium this summer window.
It is, therefore, expected that the North London club will do some deals this summer window to get the team back to its best under manager Mikel Arteta.
EPL: United, Arsenal target finally makes his choice
Two English Premier League clubs, Man United and Arsenal have been following Lille Centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes with the hope of snapping up his signature this summer transfer window.
It has been a very long chase for the two sides as they hope to secure a quality defender for next season’s challenge. The dust may now be settled as he has reportedly made his choice between the two clubs.
Reports claim Gabriel Magalhaes has decided to go with Arsenal ahead of Man United in case he receives a bid from both clubs as he is impressed with the talks he held with the Gunners earlier this week.

Arsenal and Man United have been suffering shaky back for the past seasons and that could be settled for the Gunners with the Brazilian who is almost certain to leave the French outfit this summer window.
The Red Devils and the Gunners are not alone in the chase of the Lille defender despite having the edge as Napoli and Everton are also being linked.
However, Man United are not willing o give up on the chase despite the latest report as they hope to have a bid submitted for Gabriel Magalhaes in the coming days.
Gabriel Magalhaes has been valued for about £27 million which the two clubs are willing to pay.
EPL: Why Man United failed to sign Man City’s new recruit
Man City have just secured the signature of Dutch defender Nathan Ake from Bournemouth for a fee of £41 million despite Man United’s initial interest in the player.
Nathan Ake, who sealed a five-year deal with the Premier League giants to become Pep Guardiola’s second signing this summer after the £21 million deal for Valencia winger Ferran Torres, was earlier tipped to move to the Old Trafford.
However, the Athletic report that while Nathan Ake was with Bournemouth, the club conceded too many goals and that was the reason why the Red Devils refused to continue with the deal.

It is claimed that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had analyzed the profile of the player and his record and was not satisfied because he seeks for a better profile for a centre-back.
However, the Red Devils are still in the search for a better option as they are yet to seal any summer transfer deal this term despite the loud reported interest in England international winger Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already welcomed Chris Smalling to the club from a loan spell at AS Roma while it is expected that others, like Diogo Dalot, leave the club to create space for new recruits.
Everton on board for United’s Dalot
With the future of Man United full-back Diogo Dalot at Man United in the air, he seems to have secured a destination already as Merseyside outfit, Everton are keen to land him this summer window.
Diogo Dalot has struggled to find playing time under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this season but that could be corrected if he agrees on a move to the Goodison Park this summer as manager Carlo Ancelotti is keen to hand him a regular role next term.
With the Red Devils hoping to raise funds for transfer activities this summer window, the 21-year-old who is behind Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the pecking order could be used to achieve such an aim.

Carlo Ancelotti is confident that Everton can land Diogo Dalot for a fee of £10 million with Man United desperate for funds.
The Red Devils have been struggling to seal a deal for their major target, Jadon Sancho from the German Bundesliga club, Borussia Dortmund, and due to the inability to meet with the fee. This makes the club seek for more means of raising money.
However, Carlo Ancelotti is reported to have given the Toffees the go-ahead to submit a bid for Diogo Dalot to be able to agree on personal terms with the player.
EPL: Arsenal midfielder happy to be away again
It is already reported that Armenian attacking midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan will not be returning to join Arsenal for the new season from Italian Serie A outfit AS Roma.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan was sent out of the Emirates Stadium on a loan deal to the Serie A outfit after failing to impress at the club and it seems he has been favoured by the loan move to get his career back to its best.
While on loan with AS Roma in the just-concluded season, Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored nine goals and provided six assists in 29 games. He is now believed to be one of the favourites at the club.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan was due to return to the Emirates Stadium but with the loan extension, it is no longer happening and that has got him happy as he told UEFA’s official website that he had a good season in Italy despite the two injuries.
Also, AS Roma chief executive Guido Fienga has insisted that Henrikh Mkhitaryan would be with the club and he is also happy to have his loan term extended for another year.
However, commentators have opined that the North London outfit will be willing to listen to offers from the Serie A club for a permanent deal as they will no longer need the 31-year-old at the Emirates Stadium.
