Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in talks to sign one of their former players Gareth Bale.
According to trusted Spanish newspaper Marca, Spurs are in talks with Real Madrid to sign Gareth Bale in a deal could be as much as €60m.
It was revealed that both clubs will share the salary of the Welsh international.
Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid will share the player’s wages at 50-50.
The Real Madrid forward has three years left on his current deal and his agent Jonathan Barrett had earlier said that Bale wants to honour his contract despite being transfer-listed.
Real Madrid are keen to sell some of their unwanted players like Gareth Bale to raise funds this summer after their transfer splurge in May and June.
Gareth Bale was a Tottenham Hotspur player until the summer of 2013 when he joined the Los Merengues on the back of a stellar season at the club.
Tottenham Hotspur received a then world-record fee of £85.3m for the player who snubbed the advances of Manchester United.
The North London club has uncharacteristically spent money this summer and former player Bale could be the next player to sign this summer.
Spurs have already spent a club-record £63m on midfielder Tanguy Ndombele whom they signed from Lyon this summer.
