Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku will reportedly complete a move to Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan this week.
This is according to the publication from the Daily Mirror which claimed that the £60m transfer will be confirmed before the end of this week.
Romelu Lukaku has emerged as the top transfer target for Inter Milan this summer following the appointment of Antonio Conte as the new Nerazzurri manager.
Conte replaced Luciano Spalletti as the Inter Milan manager earlier this summer after he penned a three-year deal worth €10m on a yearly basis.
The former Chelsea manager tried to sign Romelu Lukaku while he was at Stamford Bridge only for him to miss out on the player to Manchester United who signed him for £75m.
The transfer made him the second most expensive player in the history of Manchester United after star man Paul Pogba who broke the world record when he signed for the Red Devils in 2016 for £89m.
Romelu Lukaku has scored more goals than any other player since his move to Manchester United two years ago.
The 27-year-old has scored 42 goals in his two seasons at Old Trafford including 15 goals in all competitions during the just concluded season.
