Seven-time Italian Serie A giants AC Milan have joined the race to sign wantaway Arsenal defender Krystian Bielik during this summer’s transfer window.

This is according to Polish media outlet Przeglad Sportowy which claimed that the Rossoneri are also interested in the young Arsenal player.

Krystian Bielik has previously been linked with English Championship club Leeds United as he’s unlikely to feature prominently in the new season.

The 21-year-old has serious doubts about the playing time that he would get under Arsenal manager Unai Emery when the new season starts.

Bielik has seen his stock rise after a successful loan spell at London club Charlton Athletic whom he helped to secure promotion from English League One to the English Championship.

Charlton Athletic sealed their place in the second tier of English football after they saw off Sunderland in the playoff final.

Sunderland were beaten 2-1 by Charlton despite going a goal ahead.

Krystian Bielik has two years left on his current deal with Arsenal and AC Milan won’t have to pay over the odds for him.

The Polish u-21 international player also impressed a great deal for his beloved country at the just concluded European Championship in Italy and San Marino.
