South London giants Crystal Palace are reportedly eyeing a summer move for Liverpool defender Nathaniel Clyne.

According to TeamTalk, The Eagles have targeted Clyne as a replacement for Aaron Wan-Bissaka who has moved to fellow Premier League side Manchester United.

England junior international Wan-Bissaka was a revelation for Crystal Palace last season and he has been rewarded with a big move to Manchester United.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka broke into the Crystal Palace team at the start of last season and he was the first choice right-back for the Eagles throughout last season.

The 21-year-old made 35 appearances for Crystal Palace in the Premier League last season.

Nathaniel Clyne could be the direct replacement for Aaron Wan-Bissaka at Crystal Palace.

The Liverpool defender is no stranger to Crystal Palace after the England international came through the ranks at Selhurst Park before making his debut for the first team.

He joined Southampton from Crystal Palace before ending at Liverpool in 2015.

Clyne was the first choice right-back at Liverpool before a serious knee injury pushed him down the pecking order in that position.

He’s surplus to requirements at Liverpool at the moment and the Reds would sanction his sale for £15m.

Nathaniel Clyne is on a weekly wage package of £70,000.

The Englishman spent the second half of last season on loan at Bournemouth last season.
