Reigning European champions Liverpool have been told what’s needed to sign Real Betis left-back Junior Firpo this summer.

According to the publication from Spanish media outlet Mucho Deportes, the Reds have to offer €30m plus Divock Origi for Junior Firpo.

Liverpool striker Origi was instrumental to the Champions League title won last season and it remains to be seen whether the Merseysiders would sanction his exit despite the fact that he has one year left on his contract.

Recent reports claimed that Liverpool want to offer him a new contract to secure his long-term future at the club.

Origi scored three goals in the last two Champions League games for Liverpool last season to help the Reds end their seven-year wait for a trophy.

The Belgian attacker hit the back of the net twice against Barcelona as Liverpool won 4-0 at home in the second leg of their Champions League semifinal clash.

Liverpool won the tie against the Spanish champions via a 4-3 aggregate victory.

Divock Origi came on as a second substitute in the Champions League final and went on to score the clinching goal as Liverpool beat Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur 2-0.

For Junior Firpo, he was one of the best left-backs in the Spanish La Liga last season.

He recently won the u-21 European Championship with the Spanish team.
