Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly demanding €40m for midfielder Nemanja Matic who could leave the club after two seasons.

According to TeamTalk, the Red Devils are open to the idea of the sale of Matic amidst the interest from Italian clubs.

Recent reports claimed that Nemanja Matic will hold talks with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to know where he stands in his plans ahead of the new season.

Both Inter Milan and AC Milan are interested in the 30-year-old.

Inter Milan are said to be prepared to offer €10m plus Belgian international midfielder Radja Nainggolan.

Newly appointed Inter manager Antonio Conte worked with Matic at Chelsea before the player left to join Manchester United in 2017.

Serbian international Matic has been a mainstay of the Manchester United team since his transfer two years ago but his place in the starting XI is not certain ahead of the new season.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to favour a mobile player in his midfield for the new season and it’s not surprising that the Red Devils have been linked with Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.

The target for Solskjaer is a return to the Champions League at the end of the new season.
