Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has agreed on a new contract with the Red Devils according to the latest media reports in the United Kingdom.

The England international star is expected to sign the new contract in the coming days.

According to the specific publication from the Telegraph, Marcus Rashford has agreed on a new contract worth a whopping £300,000 on a weekly basis.

The 21-year-old will sign the new four-year deal later this month thereby warding off the interest of Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona.

Apart from the Catalans, Marcus Rashford has always been linked with both Juventus and Real Madrid.

Marcus Rashford is an Academy graduate at Manchester United and he made his first team debut during the 2015/16 season.

Fellow Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku was the first choice at the club until last season when Marcus Rashford assumed the role shortly after the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the interim Manchester United manager.

His appointment was made permanent earlier this year (in March) three months after his interim appointment.

Rashford thrived under his watch especially in the opening weeks of his managerial reign at Manchester United.

He scored 13 goals in all competitions for Manchester United during the last campaign.
