West Ham United forward Marko Arnautovic has completed his big money move to China.

The Austrian international star has joined Chinese Super League (CSL) outfit Shanghai SIPG.

His transfer was announced earlier on Monday morning as the player finally got his move to Asia.

Shanghai SIPG paid £23m to secure the transfer of Marko Arnautovic from West Ham United to the Chinese Super League club.

Marko Arnautovic was previously linked with Manchester United and Chelsea in the winter transfer window.

The former Stoke City and Werder Bremen star also came close to leaving West Ham United for the Chinese Super League in January only for him to stay at the club.

Marko Arnautovic also signed a new contract during the winter transfer window.

West Ham United are already in search of a replacement for him with Maxi Gomez seen as their top transfer target.

Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gomez has a €50m release clause in his contract with the Spanish La Liga club.

Uruguayan international Maxi Gomez is also attracting the interest of clubs like Barcelona and Liverpool.

West Ham United are ready to pay the release clause for the Uruguayan attacker as they try to sign a new striker.
