Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid are plotting a player-plus-cash deal for want away Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba according to the latest reports emanating from the British media.

Real Madrid have made the signing of Paul Pogba a top priority this summer.

According to the specific publication from the stables of the Manchester Evening News (MEN), Real Madrid have concluded plans to offer a player-plus-cash deal in their quest to sign the French World Cup winner Paul Pogba.

It was revealed that Real Madrid want to offer forward Gareth Bale in a swap deal for Pogba but the Red Devils is only open to a straight cash deal worth €150m.

Welsh international Bale was close to joining Manchester United before he opted for 13-time European champions Real Madrid in 2013.

The deal that took Gareth Bale from Tottenham Hotspur to Real Madrid was a world record.

Bale was sold for €100m (£85.3m) by Spurs.

Since that summer, Manchester United have been constantly linked with Gareth Bale.

Apart from Real Madrid, Italian Serie A champions Juventus also want to sign Paul Pogba during this summer’s transfer window.

Juventus want the player to return to Turin after three years away from the club.
