Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan will reportedly meet with the agent of top transfer target Romelu Lukaku to discuss a potential move to the club.
Belgian international Lukaku is one of the top strikers at Manchester United at the moment.
The imminent transfer meeting between Inter Milan and the player’s agent Federico Pastorello was revealed by trusted Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
It was also established that Romelu Lukaku wants to join Inter Milan this summer.
He could end his two-year stay at Manchester United this summer with Inter Milan keen to sign him.
Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte has previously tried and failed to sign Lukaku in the past but he’s not afraid to try again this summer.
The former Chelsea boss wanted to bring Lukaku back to the club in the summer of 2017 but his desire didn’t come to pass after the Blues lost out to Premier League rivals Manchester United in that regard.
Conte and Chelsea had to settle for Spanish international Alvaro Morata.
Romelu Lukaku signed for Manchester United in a £75m deal from Everton and he has scored 42 goals in all competitions for the three-time European champions since his transfer to the Red Devils two years ago.
EPL – What Pogba, Rashford Discussed Before Penalty Miss In Wolves Draw
Manchester United players Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford had a discussion before the penalty miss from the former during the Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday night.
During the game, Manchester United were awarded a second half penalty after Paul Pogba was fouled in the Wolves box by Wolves skipper Conor Coady.
According to the Daily Mirror, Rashford asked Pogba if he wants to take the penalty and the Frenchman responded with Yes.
Paul Pogba went on to lose the resulting penalty and it proved to be costly for Manchester United who lost their perfect start to the new Premier League season with a 1-1 draw at the home of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Marcus Rashford had been successful from the penalty spot in the first game of the season, a 4-0 win over top four rivals Chelsea at home.
The Wolves game was the second match of the Premier League season.
It took place at the Molineux on Monday night and the match ended in a score draw.
Manchester United took the lead in the first half through Anthony Martial who has now scored two goals in two games.
Wolves equalized in the second half through a stunning strike from Ruben Neves and the missed penalty from Pogba would have given the Red Devils the three points at stake.
