Europa League holders Chelsea have concluded plans to offload loanee Alvaro Morata to Spain permanently according to the latest reports emanating from the British media.

Alvaro Morata is presently on loan at Spanish La Liga club Atletico Madrid having joined them during the winter transfer window.

The Spanish international player joined Atletico Madrid on loan for 18 months till the end of next season but recent reports claimed that Chelsea might terminate his loan spell this summer.

Alvaro Morata was a flop at Chelsea during his 18-month spell with the West Londoners following his club-record move from Real Madrid in 2017.

He started his Chelsea career well including a treble against Stoke City in the Premier League clash which ended in a 4-0 win for the Blues.

His great start fizzled out towards the winter transfer window of that season (2017/18 season).

Morata scored 24 goals in 72 appearances for Chelsea during his time at the club.

He has seen an improvement in form since his move back to Atletico Madrid in January.

Alvaro Morata recently talked about his desire to stay at Atletico Madrid beyond this summer.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Chelsea are ready to sanction a £50m deal to Atletico Madrid for ex-Juventus star Alvaro Morata.
