Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder has provided an update on the short-term future of Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
In his latest interview as monitored by the Manchester Evening News (MEN), Chris Wilder confirmed that negotiations are ongoing between Sheffield United and Manchester United.
Manchester United shot stopper Dean Henderson spent last season at Sheffield United and the 22-year-old impressed a great deal for the Blades who are keen for him to return to the club for another loan spell.
On his part, the goalkeeper also wants to return to Sheffield United where he can feature in the Premier League on a regular basis since it would be almost impossible to displace Red Devils first choice goalkeeper David De Gea at the moment.

Dean Henderson has to contend with De Gea (first choice) and Sergio Romero (second choice) if he wants to return to Manchester United to fight for the number one shirt in the goalkeeping department for the new season.
He was instrumental to the Blades’ promotion to the Premier League at the end of the regular Championship season in May.
Dean Henderson kept 21 clean sheets from 46 games as Sheffield United finished the season in second place behind champions Norwich City.
