Premier League giants Manchester United have suffered a serious transfer setback in their pursuit of Leicester City defender Harry Maguire after their latest bid for him was knocked back by the Foxes.
Manchester United had earlier made a £70m bid for Maguire on Tuesday only for Leicester City to turn down the offer made by the Red Devils.
According to various reports via the42, the bid from Manchester United was swiftly rejected by former Premier League champions Leicester City.
The Red Devils are in a battle to sign Harry Maguire alongside rivals Manchester City.

Both Manchester United clubs were initially keen to spend as much as £60m for Harry Maguire who’s said to prefer a move to the Etihad Stadium.
Manchester United moved ahead of their rivals with the £70m bid made some hours ago.
The Red Devils want to sign a new quality centre back this summer and they have made Maguire their number one target in that regard.
As for Manchester City, the Premier League champions are not willing to spend more than £60m for Harry Maguire as they try to sign him as the heir to the centre back position left by ex-club captain Vincent Kompany this summer.
