A report according to The Mirror has claimed that Merseyside outfit Liverpool are ready to let go of their star player and young prospect Harry Wilson in this summer transfer window.
This has therefore raised concerns as some of the fans claim he is a young prospect who should be allowed to be with the team to develop and become a star in the future rather than cashing-in on him.
Harry Wilson’s quality was known when he had a loan spell with Derby County, managed by former Chelsea man Frank Lampard. He was helpful to the team’s qualification for playoff with the hope of playing in the Premier League.
The 22-year-old had scored a total of 16 goals in the Championship despite playing as a midfielder and that remains an added advantage to the young lad, adding to his quality.
However, it has been suggested that the decision is a good one because Liverpool have got a number of options which means the star player will not be missed.
Secondly, it is claimed that selling Wilson will hand him the opportunity to become a better player and showcase his skills while Liverpool will be able to cash in and use the fund to develop the team.
