Former Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez has been appointed the new manager of Chinese Super League outfit Dalian Yifang.
His new job was confirmed by the Chinese club via their official Twitter handle on Tuesday morning.
Rafael Benitez is back in the dugout immediately after he left Premier League club Newcastle United at the end of last month.
The Spanish tactician left the Magpies following the expiration of his contract with the club.
Benitez was keen to stay at the club but Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley failed to back him with transfers.

He has always been at loggerheads with Mike Ashley over his failure to improve the Newcastle United playing squad with new players.
The former Chelsea and Napoli manager spent three years in the Northeast as the Newcastle United boss.
He was appointed towards the end of the 2015/16 season in the Magpies’ bid to avoid relegation that year but Rafael Benitez was unable to achieve that.
Benitez stayed on as the Newcastle United manager after the relegation.
He signed a three-year deal in the summer of 2016 until this summer and the Spaniard went on to mastermind the club’s promotion to the Premier League after one season.
Benitez led Newcastle United to 10th and 13th place in the Magpies’ two seasons back in the top flight.
