Spanish La Liga club Sevilla have completed the signing of Spanish midfielder Joan Jordan for a fee believed to be around €15m.
His transfer was confirmed by Sevilla earlier on Thursday.
Joan Jordan has put pen to paper on a four-year deal with Sevilla until the end of the 2022/23 season.
The 24-year-old has been a key player for Eibar for the better part of the last two seasons.
Joan Jordan was linked with the Premier League but he has opted to stay in the Spanish La Liga.
The Spaniard would be a direct replacement for Pablo Sarabia who’s expected to join French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) by next week.
PSG will pay €18m to sign Pablo Sarabia from Sevilla as confirmed by the latest reports emanating from the Spanish media.
The French giants are in need of midfield reinforcements since midfielder Adrien Rabiot will leave the club at the end of this month.
Joan Jordan was previously linked with a move to the English top flight with clubs like West Ham United and Arsenal.
The Gunners are looking for a midfield replacement for Juventus-bound Aaron Ramsey and Joan Jordan was seen as an option but the North London giants will have to look elsewhere after his move to Sevilla was confirmed.
