Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan are reportedly plotting a loan bid for Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku according to the latest reports from the media.

Romelu Lukaku is the top transfer target for Manchester United.

According to the publication from The Guardian, Inter want to offer a two-year loan bid for Lukaku at €10m before the deal is made permanent for €70m.

It was revealed that the player’s agent Federico Pastorello met with Inter Milan officials on Wednesday and they were informed that Romelu Lukaku is itching to play for the Nerazzuri.

New Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte has made Lukaku his number one target for this summer and it remains to be seen whether Manchester United will sanction a loan move for their striker.

Manchester United are open to the idea of letting Romelu Lukaku leave the club but the Red Devils won’t sanction a deal for him unless it’s straight cash.

Lukaku is the all-time leading goalscorer for the Red Devils of Belgium and he became a Manchester United player in 2017 after joining them from fellow Premier League club Everton.

The Toffees received £75m for his transfer to Manchester United and the Red Devils will want recoup the majority of the money spent to sign him.
