Barcelona vice-president Jordi Cardoner has confirmed that Neymar expressed his desire to return to the Nou Camp two years after he left controversially.
In his latest interview monitored by ESPN, Jordi Cardoner revealed that Neymar has said that he wants to return to Barcelona this summer before adding that the club is yet to consider that option.
The media has been dominated by Neymar and his desire to return to Barcelona with recent reports revealing that the player has given PSG an ultimatum to sell him.
He wants the club to sell him by July 8 or he will work on the French Ligue 1 giants if they fail to grant him his wish of a return to Barcelona.
Neymar moved from Barcelona to PSG in the summer of 2017 for a world-record fee of €222m (£200m).
The 27-year-old had spent four years at Barcelona following his move from Brazilian Serie A club Santos.
Neymar scored 105 goals in 186 appearances for Spanish champions Barcelona during his four-year stay in Catalan.
He won the 2015 Champions League title in addition to two league titles in those four seasons as a Barcelona player.
The Brazilian international has been more prolific for PSG albeit with fewer games after netting 51 goals in 58 appearances.
