Valverde Interested In €120m-rated Man Utd Target After Key Meeting
Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde is said to prefer a move for Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann over a transfer for Paris Saint Germain (PSG) star Neymar this summer.
This is according to the publication from the stables of popular Spanish media portal Mundo Deportivo which revealed that the Barcelona manager hinted at the preference for Manchester United target Griezmann over Neymar after his recent meeting with senior Barcelona officials.
It was revealed that Ernesto Valverde mentioned Antoine Griezmann as a major transfer target without saying anything about Neymar.
Recent reports had revealed that Neymar had already agreed on a deal with Barcelona as he closes in on a return to the Nou Camp after two years.

The Brazilian national team star was said to have agreed on a five-year deal with senior Barcelona officials worth €24m on a yearly basis.
Neymar had earlier left Barcelona in a controversial manner in 2017 for a then world-record fee of €220m.
He had spent four years at Barcelona before his exit two years ago.
Since leaving Barcelona, Neymar has scored 51 goals in 58 appearances for Paris Saint Germain (PSG) but he’s ready to return to Spain this summer.
For Griezmann, he has been linked with a move to Barcelona with his release clause scheduled to drop to €120m by July 1 having already told Atletico Madrid that he will leave this summer.
