Premier League giants Manchester United are closing in on their second signing of this summer following the news that Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka could undergo his medical at the club in the coming days.
According to Football Insider, Manchester United are keen to speed up the deal before they jet out for their preseason at Australia.
It was revealed that a medical for the young right-back could take place this week after Manchester United made a breakthrough in transfer talks.
Earlier reports had claimed that Manchester United have agreed on an initial fee of £42.5m for Aaron Wan-Bissaka after weeks of negotiations between the Red Devils and Crystal Palace.
The Red Devils had earlier made two bids for the 21-year-old right-back before the third offer of £42.5m upfront was accepted by the South London club.
Manchester United have already made one signing after Daniel James joined the club from English Championship side Swansea City earlier this summer and Aaron Wan-Bissaka is on course to become the second signing of the summer.
Welsh international Daniel James signed for Manchester United in a deal reported to be around £18m.
The 21-year-old has been rewarded for a superb form for Welsh side Swansea City during the just concluded league campaign.

The links to Premier League goalkeepers have cast doubt on the future of Kepa Arrizabalaga at Chelsea following his series of errors at the club this season.

EPL: Arsenal Receives Huge Boost Ahead Of Crystal Palace Game
Crystal Palace won’t be able to field anything close to their best XI when they welcome fellow London side Arsenal to Selhurst Park for their second Premier League meeting of the current season.
The two teams shared four goals in the first league meeting at the Emirates Stadium in October as Crystal Palace came from two goals down to secure a point.
According to Crystal Palace manager, his team is down to the barebones and he needs help from the club bosses in terms of new players.
It doesn’t seem like help will come in form of big-money signings and the former Switzerland national team manager has told Crystal Palace officials to concentrate on loan signings or free transfer signings.
After the FA Cup loss to Derby County of the English Championship, Roy Hodgson told reporters that Max Meyer and Jairo Riedewald have joined the lengthy injury list at the club.
He also lost midfielder Luka Milivojevic to suspension after that game as a result of the red card given to him during the Derby County game which Crystal Palace lost 1-0 thus prompting the Rams to progress into the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Crystal Palace have appealed the red card given to Luka Milivojevic who has always been a thorn in Arsenal’s flesh with five goals in the last six games against the Gunners.
