Chelsea midfielder Jorginho won’t be moving back to Italy despite the exit of Maurizio Sarri according to the publication from The Sun.

Earlier reports had claimed that the Italian international midfielder would follow Sarri to Juventus just like he did when the Italian tactician left Napoli to take the Chelsea job last summer.

Maurizio Sarri ended his three-year stay with Napoli to take the Chelsea job at the start of the just concluded season.

Jorginho signed for Chelsea last summer in a £57m deal despite the fact that he had an agreement in place with Premier League champions Manchester City.

According to him, Maurizio Sarri was a major factor on why he snubbed Manchester City for a move to Stamford Bridge.

Sarri was recently named the Juventus boss after putting pen to paper on a three-year deal and recent reports claimed that both Jorginho and Chelsea teammate Emerson Palmieri are targets for the new Old Lady manager.

The aforementioned publication says that Maurizio Sarri won’t pursue a move for Jorginho and that Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic will be able to play the quarterback role effectively and efficiently.

Sarri won the first trophy of his managerial career in his last game for Chelsea, a 4-1 win over Arsenal in the Europa League final.
