English Championship club Leeds United have opted out of the deal to sign Liverpool winger Ryan Kent during this transfer window.

According to Football Insider, Leeds United have pulled out of the race to sign the 22-year-old winger after they were frustrated by the high financial demands from his club.

Leeds United have been priced out of a deal for the young Liverpool player after the Reds slapped a £10m to £12m asking price on him.

The Champions League semifinalists were also interested in a loan move for Ryan Kent only for the player to turn it down.

It was revealed that the Liverpool winger either wants another loan move to Scottish Premiership giants Rangers where he can link up with manager and Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard or a permanent transfer out of Liverpool.

As a result of the new development, Leeds United and their manager Marcelo Bielsa will now switch to other targets of interests.

Ryan Kent has been attracting the interest of clubs In England after his impressive form for Rangers last season.

He was involved in 15 goal contributions over 43 games for the Scottish giants last season and that earned him the Young Player of the Year Award at the end of the Scottish Premiership campaign.
