The AS Roma star has agreed on a €17.5m contract over the next five years.
Napoli have an agreement with Kostas Manolas according to La Gazzetta dello Sport but they still need to agree on a transfer fee with AS Roma for the central defender.
Manolas has a release clause of €36m in his contract with the Italian capital club at the moment and the Romans are not willing to sell him for less.
On their part, Napoli hope they can negotiate a lower transfer fee for the 28-year-old defender.
