French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) have declared that Neymar is not for sale despite the intense transfer reports linking him with a move to Spanish champions Barcelona.
Neymar had earlier told senior club officials that he wants to leave the French champions this summer after just two seasons with the French capital club.
According to the Daily Mail, the previous Manchester United target has been told that his future lies at the Parc des Princes and that he’s not for sale.
Neymar was linked with Premier League clubs like Chelsea and Manchester United before joining Barcelona for big money in 2013.
He spent four years as a Barcelona player, winning two Spanish La Liga titles as well as the 2015 Champions League title, before his world-record move to PSG.
His Barcelona exit was controversial, but the player has realized his error and he’s ready to rectify it.
PSG activated the £198m release clause to secure his transfer from Barcelona as the officials of the Catalan giants were powerless to stop the transfer.
Neymar has suffered an injury-hit time at PSG and the French giants have not made much progress despite the fact that they have the Brazilian as well as Kylian Mbappe in their ranks.
