Spanish champions Barcelona have reportedly made a first offer for wantaway Paris Saint Germain (PSG) attacker Neymar.

This is according to the latest reports coming out of the media in Spain.

Neymar has been linked with a return to the Nou Camp after growing frustrated with life at the Parc des Princes.

According to the specific report from the stables of popular Spanish news portal Sport, Barcelona have made a swap bid in their quest to re-sign the hugely talented Brazilian national team star.

It was revealed that the Catalan giants have made a bid of €100m in addition to midfielder Philippe Coutinho who’s rated at around €100m thus making it €200m.

The first offer from Barcelona is short of the €220m (£200m) paid for him by the French champions two years ago.

Barcelona were reluctant to let him leave the club then but senior club officials were almost handicapped after PSG activated his then release clause.

Neymar has spent two years but his presence in Paris has not yielded the needed result especially in the Champions League with PSG bowing out of the competition at the first knockout stage hurdle in the last two seasons.

Neymar has missed the majority of the knockout stage games for PSG since his multi-million pounds transfer.
