4-4-2: How Palace Will Line Up Should Nathaniel Clyne Complete Transfer

0

Liverpool defender Nathaniel Clyne has been strongly linked with a return to his former club Crystal Palace during this transfer window.

Crystal Palace are one of the English top flight sides on the hunt for the England international player.

Apart from the Eagles, Nathaniel Clyne has also been linked with a move to West Ham United and Bournemouth.

He had earlier spent some time on loan at Bournemouth.

Clyne made 15 appearances for the Cherries in all competitions during his six-month loan spell at the Vitality Stadium.

He had represented the Reds on five occasions during the first half of the just concluded season.

Crystal Palace might need a new right-back in the coming days with Premier League giants Manchester United keen to sign their first choice right-sided defender.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is the undisputed first choice right-back for the Eagles and he’s expected to leave the club this summer for Manchester United who have already had two bids turned down for him.

Nathaniel Clyne would definitely be an ideal replacement for him at his former club Crystal Palace.

Crystal Palace Starting XI (4-3-3): Vicente Guaita; Nathaniel Clyne, Mamadou Sakho, James Tomkins, Patrick Van-Aanholt; Luka Milovojevic, James McArthur, Jeffrey Schlupp; Wilfried Zaha, Andros Townsend and Christian Benteke.
